Day Proclamations

The Texas Society for Histotechnology is here to assist you in your efforts to have Histotechnology Professionals Day recognized within your area! Our members have experienced successes within many parts of Texas.

Within her role as advocacy chairman, Kelly Mallett was successful in leading the movement to bringing Histotechnology Professionals Day to the City of Bryan, and the City of College Station. Additionally, she has received a resolution from the Texas State Representative for District 13.

The City of Carrollton officially declared March 10 as Histotechnologists Professionals Day! Sandi Bottomley, Kurell Coats and Shameika Winfrey were present to accept the proclamation.

The City of McKinney presented this proclamation to Matt Shertzer in announcing March 10 as Histotechnologists Professionals Day.
